"In a terrible mood, I called an agency owned by a woman at about 4:50 whereas they close at five. A man, a wonderful man, answer the phone, Harry. I needed immediate car insurance for two cars, umbrella insurance, and condo insurance. Harry stayed on the phone with me until I Understood What everything meant. He also figured out a way for me to spend less money by bundling, He Checked to see if it would be cheaper if I had a lower deductible and basically spent more time than he needed to with me. I had just had a big fight with my insurance company and dropped them. Harry got me insured within an hour, an hour for which he was not on the clock. In addition, he somehow managed to change horrible mood into a lovely conversation and by the end we were laughing and my BP went down! "Had a very positive customer service experience with Shane at Jenny Tola's State Farm office. I am a current State Farm policyholder. My mother had a homeowners policy with another insurance company. The renewal cost was 22% ($700) more than last year! For a senior citizen living on social security, that is a lot of money. It's a lot of money for anyone! I called State Farm to get a quote. Shane was very helpful during the initial call. He emailed me a quote almost immediately. I had some questions, and he called me back (always a plus in my books), and after a few tweaks, we got to almost the same coverage and deductibles (some better/some worse due to company policy requirements). But all-in, it netted to a savings of $1,200! I have to also thank my hairdresser who told me to just call State Farm. She had already made a lot of calls since her homeowners renewal went up too. She said State Farm had the best quote, so I used her legwork to my mom's advantage. The other insurance company was not able to match State Farm's quote, so that policy has been cancelled! Insurance can be hard to decipher and Shane was very courteous and patient with my questions. Hopefully, we'll never have to make a claim, but if we do, I expect we'll get the same positive, helpful response from Jenny Tola's State Farm office."
