"A day before Thanksgiving I contacted Jenny Tola agency for an estimate. A young man answered the phone and we began discussing condo insurance, and I told him we would also need an umbrella policy. He said with a bit of skepticism (and I quote): "Well, you are going to have to prove that you need that kind of policy." Huh? Going through more questions, he seemed quite inexperienced, but we got through the call and he sent a preliminary estimate. I had more questions, so I called and asked to speak to a more experienced agent who could answer my questions. At first, they refused my request, but finally reluctantly relented and I was given the email of a more senior agent to contact. I sent the senior agent an email giving my availability, my need for auto, condo, and and umbrella policies, attached my jewelry appraisal, and asked him whether we could talk the day after Thanksgiving. No response. On Friday morning I followed up on my email, still no response by email. And no call. I called the office, and the original young agent I spoke to answered and claimed he knew nothing of my previous call or emails. By the way he hesitated with his responses, my intuition told me he wasn't being truthful. I decided to contact a different State Farm agent. Jenny Tola agency isn't responsive and doesn't treat prospective customers well if they have questions beyond what their young phone agents can answer. I think it's possible this agency is too profit-focused and has grown too large too fast. It's a shame, we would have been good customers for them to have, we have very low claim records and good credit ratings."

"Choosing Jenny Tola State Farm was a huge mistake for me. I sent out quotes to multiple insurance agencies and ended up choosing Jenny Tola State Farm. Agreed and paid for the policy. Unbeknownst to me, and to the sales reps, State Farm increased my policy by 50% after I already agree and paid. The company has been less than helpful trying to solve this breach of contract, and have continued to ask me for more money. I would not recommend anyone go with this insurer unless you’re willing to accept hidden fees and cough up money mid policy year."
